Football And Politics
Let's hope that the superstition behind the winner of this game is true. If it is then Shrubby's days in office are numbered and I for one think that is a good thing. The past few days I have blogged about a political email that I sent to my family. Well, all I keep hearing from my family is how I should vote for Bush and how I should not be picking on Bush. My sister being one of the ones who think that I should vote republican and that I should not waste my vote on the libertarian candidate. Guess what I do not think it is a wasted vote. She even pointed me to a hardcore libertarian supporter who is voting republican this year. As she put it now is not the time to lodge a protest vote but I differ I think now is the time to show Washington that we do not want to reelect Bush. I can't support Bush and I know I can't support Kerry either that is why I chose to vote Libertarian this time.
Speaking of Politics the other day I saw some funny anti Bush bumper stickers. One said save a tree remove a Bush. The other one said Bush it takes a village idiot.

Though I respect your views as a libertarian and understand your POV, I can not understand how you think a Bush loss to John Kerry is good for the country.
We are talking about a guy who wants government to intervene in every aspect of our lives in the name of terror.
I know you think that of George W. Bush, but he has not made that a part of his campaign. Bush's war on terror is over seas. Kerry's plan is to bring it too our ports.
I absolutly agree that this is a time as good as any not to just vote for the lesser of two evils. I just wanted to comment about the superstition behind the winner of the game. Do you think that it is odd that since Green Bay won Kerry will win even though he doesn't even know were they play football.
